One day. 100+ items. A 1.5T brain MRI, low-dose chest CT, capsule gastroscopy and a full laboratory panel at Meinian Health — China's largest listed screening group. From $1,067, against $5,000–15,000 for comparable US executive physicals.

Why This Screening

A hospital-grade executive physical, without the US price tag

We coordinate a one-day, hospital-grade screening at Meinian Health — one of China's two largest private screening groups, listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange — at its Guangzhou flagship centers. The same building blocks that US institutions package as a $5,000–15,000 "executive physical" are all here: a 1.5T brain MRI, low-dose spiral chest CT, magnetically controlled capsule gastroscopy, four ultrasound studies and a 100+ item laboratory panel including more than a dozen tumor markers.

One day on siteThe full battery is completed in a single morning visit. Fasting labs run first, imaging follows, breakfast is served after blood draw.
English summary includedThe center's findings are summarized for you in writing in English, and DICOM images are portable to your own doctor.
Escorted door to doorAirport pickup, hotel transfer and an English-speaking escort through every department are part of our coordination fee.
The Facility

What the center looks like

Dedicated screening floors — separate from sick-patient hospital traffic — with purpose-built imaging suites, an on-site laboratory and a VIP rest area.

What Is Included

Two panels, one center

Both panels are built on the same imaging platform and the same laboratory. The flagship simply goes deeper where it matters most for a 40+ executive: brain volume, carotid arteries, stomach and continuous glucose.

Deep Dive: The Brain MRI

Plain brain scan vs volumetric brain scan

The single most common question about the two panels. Both run on the same 1.5T MRI platform — the difference is the scan protocol and what the report measures:

Entry Panel — plain brain MRI

Standard T1/T2/FLAIR/DWI sequences. What it answers: is there a lesion — infarct, tumor, bleeding, demyelination? A qualitative screening read designed to catch established disease.

Flagship — volumetric brain protocol

3D thin-slice (1 mm) T1 acquisition with software quantifying brain and hippocampal volumes against age norms. What it answers: is my brain aging faster than it should? Early cognitive-decline and stroke-risk screening, plus a standardized questionnaire review.

If either scan flags something, we coordinate a second opinion or a specialist referral — the same coordination service we provide for treatment cases.

Honest boundary: what to do about any finding is a decision for physicians, not for us. We coordinate the screening and the paperwork; clinical decisions stay with the center's doctors and your own physician.

We quote a fixed US-dollar price for each panel — a single all-inclusive program rate that already includes currency protection, so the number you are quoted is the number you pay, regardless of exchange-rate movement between booking and screening day. Women's versions add gynecological exam, HPV/TCT cervical screening and additional ultrasound studies at the same price. All figures are in US dollars — your written quote from us is the final number.

Our fee, separately: health-screening coordination is a flat $300 all-in — booking, airport pickup and return, point-to-point transport within Guangdong Province, an English-speaking escort on the day and a written English summary of your report. No separate case-processing charge is added. The full screening total (program + our $300 fee) is paid online at checkout, and we settle the program fee with the center on your behalf — you pay nothing at the center itself.
Before You Fly

Booking & preparation

Booking

The center requires reservation ahead of your preferred date. We confirm your date, panel version (Entry / Flagship, men's / women's) and any add-ons in writing before you fly.

Opening hours

Morning arrival window, roughly 8:00–11:30; fasting blood draws close at about 10:30. The battery is designed to finish within the morning.

Fasting

Light meals the day before, no alcohol, nothing to eat after 20:00 the prior evening. Blood tests, abdominal ultrasound and the capsule gastroscopy are fasting procedures.

Documents

Bring your passport — it is your identity document for registration. We handle the reservation voucher in advance.

Women's notes

The gynecological and urine tests are not performed during menstruation; pregnancy must be declared in advance — radiology and MRI are then not arranged.

MRI safety

No metal items, watches, cards or jewellery can enter the MRI room — the center provides secure storage, and the escort handles the check-in sequence.
