FAQ

The questions every family asks first

Is medical treatment in China right for my situation?

It depends on your diagnosis and goals — and we tell you honestly either way. We coordinate only with Grade-A tertiary public hospitals, the top tier of China's hospital system. Send your records and we will confirm whether China is a suitable option before you spend anything. We stand behind the process — senior specialists, written quotes, an interpreter at your side — not medical outcomes.

How do I choose an appropriate hospital?

You don't have to do it alone. We put your case in front of the departments that actually perform your procedure, recommend the center best suited to your condition, and confirm the costs in writing — with our honest assessment of what the figure covers and what it does not.

Why can treatment cost less in China?

Three structural reasons: surgeon caseloads are much higher, national procurement keeps drug and implant prices low, and hospital overhead is lower. International-department service fees are higher than local rates, but the total can still be significantly lower than comparable care elsewhere.

Do I pay VitalBridge or the hospital?

You pay the hospital directly — every medical fee goes from you to the hospital. Our coordination fees are separate, fixed and published before you commit to anything.

What happens if plans change?

Re-coordination is part of the service — second-department opinions, transfers and communication around complications. If you need to return home early, we help with discharge settlement and rebooking: any refund of hospital charges follows the hospital's own written policy and we handle that process for you, while our own fees follow the cancellation terms on our pricing page. If your case isn't right for China, we tell you before you spend a cent.

Do I need a visa to travel to China?

Most treatment stays use an M visa with the hospital's official invitation letter, which we help coordinate. Many nationalities can also enter visa-free or use transit visa-free entry for consultations.
